To shoot Mesa Arch was my priority of the day in the Canyonlands. As I headed to the site, a huge mid-Summer storm approached, the clouds swirling overhead. I was soon focused on the dance of the skies and took a series of shots as the storm approached. Seconds later, a torrential downpour totally saturated me and filled the dry desert air with the most amazing smell. I had got the shot!
