Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, Minnesota
As I hiked the shores of Lake Superior searching for a shot of the lighthouse I noticed the shoreline. Lichen of all colors looked like a tapestry over the rocks and rounded pebbles looked amazing with their contrast in shape and colour. Sometimes I like isolating a single element, searching for the unseen. It gives me a challenge, capturing things that we would otherwise walk by.
