Pushing the boundaries of photography always keeps me going. Light, shadows, shapes, time, technique, are sometimes not enough. This serene tranquil evening in the total wilderness of the aspens was something I’ll never forget. As the full moon rose, it cast a magical glow I just cannot describe. I was breathless. Relying on pure instinct I shot a series of images of this fairy tale scene but knew I could do more. I set the camera on a manual slow shutter and moved the camera in a vertical motion through out the 1/8 second exposure. This natural abstract revealed itself to me and I was stunned by the emotion it radiated.
