Tuscany’s famous wine making region holds one of the most charming landscapes in all of Northern Italy. Just look at it – visions like this have been inspiring art and culture throughout Europe for centuries. It is a masterpiece created by the world’s greatest artist: Mother Nature. I was in total awe when I came upon this incredibly textured display of timeless beauty – with so many details I could get lost in for days. The early morning light created drifting shadows that moved about the rows of olive trees and grape vines that seemed perfectly spaced apart. As the scent of fresh spring grass filled the air, I set my camera to capture every colorful patch of land and every majestic mountain in the distance. When I think of Italy, this is the shot that comes to mind – a sublime moment of complete solitude and peace.
